The 2012 General Tech “Concept to Company” Competition in Southwest Utah was the 13th C2C competition. It took place from February to May 2012. The focus of the contest was on innovations involving technology.
Over 50 well-qualified applicants applied to the contest and of those, eight finalists were chosen. The finalists presented their ideas to a panel of judges on May 9th, 2012 at Dixie State College. At the conclusion of the judging, three winners were chosen and announced, but the Grand Prize Winner was not disclosed at that time. Instead, the next day the three winners and judges reconvened to pitch their ideas again in front of a live audience at the CrowdPitch event.
At the conclusion of the winners presentations, the Grand Prize Winner was announced and prizes were awarded.
