The 2012 Digital Media “Concept to Company” Competition was the 12th C2C competition. It took place from February to April 2012. The focus of the contest was on digital media innovations and mobile applications. Over 60 well-qualified applicants applied to the contest and of those, nine finalists were chosen. The finalists presented their ideas to a panel of judges on March 30th, 2012 at the Utah Valley University Business Resource Center in Orem. At the conclusion of the judging, three winners were chosen and announced, but the Grand Prize Winner was not disclosed at that time.
The following week, the three winners and judges reconvened to pitch their ideas again in front of a live audience at the CrowdPitch event. At the conclusion of the winners presentations, the Grand Prize Winner was announced and prizes were awarded.
