Mobile Apps ’12

The 2012 Mobile App “Concept to Company” Competition was the 16th C2C competition. It took place from September to November 2012. The focus of the contest was on new mobile apps.

Over 75 well-qualified applicants applied to the contest and of those, nine finalists were chosen. The finalists presented their ideas to a panel of judges on November 16, 2012 at Weber State University. At the conclusion of the judging, three winners were chosen and announced, but the Grand Prize Winner was not disclosed at that time.

Two weeks later, the three winners and judges reconvened to pitch their ideas again in front of a live audience at the CrowdPitch event in conjunction with the PushButton Digital Media Summit. At the conclusion of the winners presentations, the Grand Prize Winner was announced and prizes were awarded.
